Have you noticed that all the love stories we have been hearing recently involving Nigerian music acts only center on the male artistes? What is happening to the female artistes? I'm sure many fans have been asking if the female artistes don't also fall in love like the Wizkids, Davidos, D'banjs, and the rest of them. If not for Aunty Tiwa and Simi who have been doing a little bit of unconvincing romance, we wouldn't even hear anything love about Nigerian female singers.
However, it’s like the tides are beginning to change, as more Nigerian female music acts are coming out to state their secret love intentions. Who would have believed or imagined that Mama Africa, Yemi Alade, would even want to fall in love? Much less falling in love with Flavor N'abania, who was acclaimed some time ago to be romantically involved with Chidimma?
Amazingly, that's the case here! Just on Wednesday morning, the "Johnny" singer, who's not the type that leaks heart-related issues, openly made known that her wish to be Flavour's Bae. She made this shocking revelation in a chit-chat with Ade Laoye on Accelerate TV, where she also spoke of her life, growing up, and how she commenced her music career. But her talk on the crush she has for Flavor became the climax of the show.
