Let’s be the first to tell you and confirm to you that YBNL boss, Olamide will be dropping a new album this year. The new album has been recorded and will be released when he returns to Nigeria from his UK tour. Sources in the YBNL camp tells AOB that, ‘Olamide’s album has been ready for a long time, he’s just yet to decide on a title for the album’.
We also gather that Olamide’s album will be followed by Lil Kesh’s debut album that’s also ready to drop any time soon. Olamide will enter the history book when his 5th album drops this year as the first Nigerian rapper to drop 5 albums in 5 years.
His debut album, Rhapsody dropped in 2011, his sophomore album, YBNL was released in 2012, while his third album, Baddest Guy Ever Liveth, followed in November 2013 and his 4th studio album ‘Street OT’ dropped in November 2014. Already, In 2015 Olamide has released a joint album with Phyno ‘2 Kings’, and 5 singles including Matters Arising, Lagos Boys, Shakiti Bobo and others.
