Tizzle Nation Presents Sean Tizzle – Thank You.
From his forth coming Ep titled: (MOVING FORWARD VOL.1) Sean Tizzle kicks starts with an
awesome tune.

President Buhari has reportedly sanctioned the removal of Ibrahim Magu as the head of the premier anti-graft body following the furore of non-approval by the senate.

Ibrahim Magu

The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, may have finally been removed from office.

A source close to The Guardian said his redeployment back to Nigerian Police Force (NPF) was to pave way for a fresh person to be presented by President Muhammadu Buhari as the nominee to head the anti-graft agency before the Senate.

It was gathered to make the situation look like a routine exercise, some senior Police officers would be re-deployed by the Police hierarchy to resume as conventional Police officers.

It was equally reliably gathered yesterday that the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has already issued a leter to Magu on the development and directed that he hands over to the Director of Operations in the Commission.

Magu’s nomination was recently rejected by the Senate following allegation of graft levelled against him by the Department of State Security Service (DSS).
A traditional ruler who was accused of engaging in internet fraud is set to be arrested by the commissioner of police following a court order.

Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi

A magistrate’s court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State has ordered the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye, to arrest the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, and bring him to court on January 6, 2017.

The magistrate, Olusola Aluko, gave the fresh order on Friday when the case involving the monarch came up for hearing again.

He said he was surprised that the police commissioner had not arrested Oluwo since he first issued the bench warrant of arrest against the first class monarch. Aluko expressed dismay that the police commissioner had not effected the bench warrant of arrest he had issued against the monarch, which he said he had signed and handed over to an officer of the state police command.

He said, “I am baffled that the commissioner of police has not done his duty. I am also surprised by his claim that he was unaware of the bench warrant. That must be a joke of the century. I, therefore, order him to immediately arrest the respondent.

“I am not joking with my order. He (Akanbi) should be arrested and brought to this court on Friday, January 6, 2017. The sanctity of the judiciary must be protected.”

Aluko stated that the case instituted by the Oluwo Oke of Iwo Oke, Oba Kadiri Adeoye, against Akanbi before his court was not a chieftaincy case but a criminal one.

He said, “I will like to say that the matter before me was filed based on sections 35, 37 and 38 of the criminal procedures of Osun State.

“In a criminal case such as this, a defendant must appear in court. This court is not trying a chieftaincy matter. It is the law that once an order is made, to prevent anarchy, such an order must be obeyed.

“It is to be noted that an order was first made by my brother, Magistrate Omisade of Iwo jurisdiction before the case was transferred here by fiat and I had asked him (Akanbi) three times to appear before this court.”

It will be recalled that the magistrate had on December 2 threatened to issue a bench warrant against the Oluwo if he failed to appear before him on December 20, but the monarch failed to appear before the court.

The magistrate then issued a bench warrant against the monarch on December 20 but the monarch allegedly said he would not appear before the magistrate.

Aluko had also issued a fresh bench warrant against the monarch on Wednesday for contempt of court but the monarch still did not appear on Friday.

The Oluwo had earlier told a Punch correspondent in an interview that he would not appear before the magistrate, but subsequent efforts to get his reaction to the fresh order of arrest were not successful as calls put across to his telephone did not connect.

The police commissioner, when contacted on the telephone by a correspondent after the fresh court order, said he was not aware of it.

According to Thenet.ng, the artistes, are set to leave following the end of their record/management deal with the label. Adekunle Gold, who was signed back in 2014, has dropped hits upon hits under the label. He also dropped his debut album a few months back which went on to garner mixed reviews.
So, DJ Cuppy looked for Twitter Naija’s trouble yesterday by tweeting that 2016 has been no one’s year.
Well, for a 24-year-old billionaire daughter, footballer Anichebe’s girlfriend, that got a G-wagon recently, and also a successful DJ, she sure looked for trouble with that tweet. Check out some hilarious responses she got after the cut…

A popular Nigerian pastor has ended up losing large sums of money after his church made a grave error in the choice of investments.
Matthew Ashimolowo

Kingsway International Christian Centre, a 12,000-member megachurch in Britain headed by Nigeria’s Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo, lost $4.8 million to a Ponzi scheme after trustees carelessly invested money in it.

The scam was the brainchild of former Premier League soccer player, Richard Rufus, who used to be a defender for Charlton Athletic. He promised investors along with the church a return as high as 55 per cent.

The Christian Post reporting the findings of an inquiry published 14 December by the Charity Commission for England and Wales revealed that the Kent-based 12,000 members Christian Centre suffered a net loss of about $4.8 million (£3.9 million) after its trustees invested over $6.1 million (£5 million) in four instalments between June 2009 and June 2010 . Mr. Rufus was a member and former trustee of the church.

Mr. Rufus had guaranteed that the investments would earn a sizeable return totalling about 55 percent in a year.He was last year found guilty of defrauding about 100 investors out of a total of $10,731,159 (£8,682,343) in the £16-million investing scheme.

Kingsway International Christian Centre was the single largest investor in the scheme.

The Charity Commission said in the report that the church’s trustees handed over an initial investment and entered into an agreement in which they were guaranteed that investment would earn a profit of about five percent per month, with the exception of August and December when they were guaranteed profits of about 2.5 percent.

“The inquiry established that in practice, however, the investments resulted in a net loss of £3.9 million to the charity,” the report explains.

The report states that the church’s trustees who handed over the funds were guilty of “mismanagement.”

The commission found that the church’s trustees did not “exercise sufficient care when making the decisions to invest £5 million of the charity’s funds through the ex-trustee’s investment scheme.”

“They did not follow all the principles expected of trustees to ensure they comply with their trustee duties under charity law when making those decisions,” the report said.

The Charity Commission was first alerted to the church’s investment when it found that the church made £3 million of investments with a “qualified independent trader” who was “in a position to provide the services of an investment manager by investing in financial markets.”

After the commission contacted the Financial Services Authority to verify the trustee’s status as a trader, it found that the trustee in question was not, nor had he ever been, licensed to “carry on regulated activities in a personal capacity.”

The commission also found that the investments were paid to the trustee’s personal bank accounts. Additionally, the commission found that the investments“appeared to be speculative and high risk in nature.”

As a result of the commission’s inquiry, an interim manager was appointed to review the trustees’ decisions to invest the £5 million and to decide whether any of the trustees should be held personally liable.

The interim manager found that the trustees did not do enough to investigate whether or not the rate of return they were promised was realistic and put too much trust in the trustee’s good standing with the church and community.

“The interim manager found that conflicts of interest were not managed properly by the decision-making trustees when making the decision to invest.
"There was too much reliance on the expertise of the ex‑trustee when he was personally interested and conflicted,” the report states.

“The interim manager found that insufficient consideration was given by the decision-making trustees as to whether the guaranteed rate of return was unrealistically high, or to the potential for fraud.”

After the church entered into an Individual voluntary agreement with the ex-trustee in hopes he could pay back the money lost, the ex-trustee filed for bankruptcy and was declared bankrupt in 2013.

The interim manager also encouraged the church’s current trustees to bring a legal claim against the trustees who decided to invest the money.

Controversial CoolFM OAP, Freeze sure has time when it comes to Nigerian pastors.
Yesterday, he showered Funked Akindele with prayers after a prophet prophesied she won’t have children.
Today, he posted Pastor Adeboye’s 2016 prophesies, calling them vague as they didn’t come to pass. Read below….
“I sincerely hope we don’t get these type of vague prophesies for 2017 or is it that we don’t understand the meaning of the word prophesy? Or are we so gullible and blinded by our ‘religiousness’ that we can’t see that these prophesies are as accurate as saying “someone in lagos is going to receive a chieftaincy title in 2016?”
For those of you that haven’t seen the prophesies made by pastor Adeboye on the 1st of January, 2016. Here they are….. what do you think? Because earthquakes didn’t increase in 2016, no new venereal diseases were discovered and things didn’t improve towards the end of the year in Nigeria ?? oh well ? what do I know? There are still 4 days left this year for those things to happen if we pay our tithe ?
